The mission of the Friends of the Johnstown Flood National memorial is to support the National Park Service in preserving and protecting the Johnstown Flood National Memorial and to tell the story of the Johnstown Flood of 1889, the worst inland water disaster in the nation, so the story can inspire and educate future generations.
